The Church
| To a large extent, the church has defined Tealing's place in history. Most of the villages of Angus started off as parishes within or encompassing the large private estates. And, since it was the Kirk, the Estates and the old School Board that kept the best records, what we know of distant times is a story that weaves its way back and fore between each of them. Almost every step of the way, at least until recent times, the Church has been pivotal in the development of Tealing. |
