"I started at Tealing School in August 1988 -there were 27 children on the roll. During my time we have had the establishment of a very active P.T.A. and School board: the opening of Tealing Nursery and the introduction of a school uniform, chosen and designed by pupils. Probably the most important development has been the introduction of computers so that all pupils have computer access, and can use the computers confidently to enhance their learning.

The children participate in too many activities to list here. They have won many awards both nationally and locally. The school is particularly keen to develop in the children appreciation and care of their environment. Around the school they have planted trees, established gardens and planted many bulbs which are very lovely at this time. We encourage pupils to play a positive role within the community, we encourage links with older residents and have had former pupils of many years ago, talking to the children of their experiences; the pupils have entertained residents and they are invited to various school activities. The pupils take part in fund raising for many charities.

It is said that "Children are our Future". The future of Tealing School and the surrounding area seems to be very promising indeed."
