Local children

What do the younger generation think? Well, they are generally more hopeful and ambitious - cynicism hasn't set in yet!

In a competition run with Tealing Primary School pupils in 1998, the children were asked how they would like to see Tealing develop in the millennium. Perhaps predictably, they produced a long wish list of facilities they would like that included a leisure centre, a swimming pool, a theme park, a youth club and a gymnasium.

One young lad had a vision of a brand new premier league football stadium outside Tealing School where all the famous Scottish teams would come and play! In addition, most of the children said they wished that all the people of the village, young and old, would get together to know each other better, preferably at lots of parties and barbecues. Food for thought indeed.
